Norwegian Deck Machinery secures major contract in Canada

Norwegian Deck Machinery will deliver winches onboard two new offshore construction vessels for Cecon ASA in Norway. These vessels will be built at Davie Shipyard in Quèbec, Canada. This is the largest contract ever for NDM and includes also options for four similar vessels.

Norwegian Wega Mining to invest up to C$21 million in Merit Mining Corp.

Wega Mining AS, an Oslo-based international mining company focused on exploring, developing and operating gold, copper and zinc deposits, and Merit Mining Corp, a TSX-V listed company with a portfolio of exploration properties located in British Columbia, announced on March 19th that Wega has agreed to make an equity investment of up to C$21 million in Merit.
