The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games visits Oslo on its first international outreach

Mr. Taleeb Noormohamed, VANOC's Director of Corporate Strategy & Partner Relations, made an enthusiastic presentation of the Vancouver 2010 Games to CNBA members at a breakfast meeting on October 29th.
Mr. Normoohamed's presentation displayed the Games' role beyond showcasing outstanding athletic performances; VANOC believes that the Games have the capacity to inspire people of all ages, prompt community celebration and pride, foster unity, embrace diversity and instill a genuine spirit of peace in us all.
Sustainability is the prime focus of the Vancouver 2010 Games, and VANOC has embarked on several unique initiatives to improve socio-economic conditions in the Vancouver region, improve environmental conservation practices, and strengthen the inclusion of women, youth and Aboriginal participation.
